It feels like only yesterday we were basking in the August heatwave, with long lunches and peak holiday season, but now chilly September beckons. Thankfully, there’s a whole host of quality TV shows, movies and sports on Now TV to keep us entertained this autumn.

4 September – The Reluctant Landlord

Britain’s favourite comedian, Romesh Ranganathan, writes and stars in this semi-autobiographical sitcom. After his father passes away and leaves the local pub to Romesh, he is forced to run it, much to his dismay. Expect laughs, pints and a fair share of pork scratchings in Season 2 on Now TV.

5 September – The Loudest Voice

Based on the bestselling novel by Gabriel Sherman, The Loudest Voice tells the story of Roger Ailes who made Fox News the media influencing machine it is today. The star-studded cast includes Russell Crowe, Naomi Watts and Sienna Miller to name a few.

9 September – Keeping Up With The Kardashians S17

S1 to S16 are currently available now to stream

Need your Kardashian fix? Well, look no further because season 17 (yes, 17!) has arrived. If you’re interested in Kanye’s newest fashion venture, Kylie’s pregnancy rumours or you just love watching rich people cry, you won’t be disappointed.

13 September - Temple

This gripping Sky original sees Mark Strong play Daniel Milton, a doctor gone rogue. When Daniel finds out his wife is harbouring a life-threatening illness he decides to start an underground clinic beneath the Temple London Underground tube station. Slowly his secret life unravels and we see just how far he will go for love.

25 September – City on a Hill

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck have produced this Boston crime series, based on the real-life “Boston Miracle”. A district attorney and corrupt FBI agent, played by Kevin Bacon, come together to take on a case that shakes the very core of the criminal justice system.

26 September – Frayed

Award-winning Australian comedian, Sarah Kendall stars in this Sky original comedy. It follows the journey of Sammy Cooper, a wealthy London housewife in the 80s, who is forced to revisit her childhood home in Australia. Once she’s back she’s met with old demons from her past.

TBC - American Horror Story S9

Cult series, American Horror Story returns for its ninth season as an 80s camp-style slasher. Much of the old cast will be back but well-known actor and AMH favourite, Evan Peters, sadly won’t be returning. Not a huge amount is known about the new season but judging by the reception of previous season’s it’s likely to be a hit.

27 September - Hotel Mumbai

You’ll be sitting on the edge of your seat by the end of this thrilling true story, and Sky original, Hotel Mumbai. The plot follows the 2008 terrorist attack of the famous Taj Hotel in Mumbai. Dev Patel and Armie Hammer star in this tense thriller.
