For decades Waldo has been synonymous with L.A. sophistication and savoir faire, astutely mixing distinctive furnishings and artworks in cosmopolitan yet eminently comfortable homes for celebrities from Elizabeth Taylor to Tobey Maguire. He further makes his mark on the city by reimagining such institutions as the restaurant Spago and the Forum, the storied former sports arena the designer is helping to revive as an elite concert venue.
